Production Description
Casting “Escaping Without Leaving” a student film. Synopsis: “Escaping Without Leaving” is a story about a transgender high school student, Vanessa Carrow, who is caught between her mother’s complete denial about her identity and her father’s use of his acceptance to attack her mother. In a chance, otherworldly encounter, Vanessa learns that escaping may be exactly what she needs, but also that escaping comes in many forms.
Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Rehearses April 9 at Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, NY; shoots April 15-17 in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NY.
Compensation & Union Contract Details
Pays: $20 for rehearsal day; $50 per shoot day, plus food and a seven-day unlimited MetroCard provided.
