BGRated Casting Call: 'Home Alone' Remake 'Stoned Alone' Coming Soon with Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Reynolds is working with the director of A Ghost Story, Augustine Frizell, on a new movie. The duo is remaking the classic family movie Home Alone. The movie, which is currently titled Stoned Alone, will be a Fox film with an R-Rated twist on the ‘90s franchise.
According to reports, Stoned Alone centers around a young marijuana enthusiast who misses his flight for a planned skiing vacation. As a result, our main character decides his best alternative is to get stoned, while a group of criminals plans to break into his home.
Stoned Alone is expected to be produced by Reynolds with Frizell directing the movie. Currently, there is no word on who will be cast for the upcoming roles, so stay tuned for auditions and casting calls for the forthcoming Stoned Alone movie.
