Behind the scenes at FRS’ new lookbook photoshoot

[ad_2]

Description: Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a fashion shoot? Ok, so let me guide your through the day.

Before the actual day begins, there is so much preparation and work that it usually blows our minds and makes it über hard to decide on where-to-begin-with. It involves a lot of planning, a lot of yeys and neys, a this-model-just-drop-last-minute once in a while, a never ending hunt for non-existent props, a lot of hand work just to begin with. Besides that, a photoshoot also involves running around under the dark and stormy skies of Berlin chasing *that* prop that will make or break our shoot and that everyone forgot until we actually needed it. And of course, the oh-my-gawds-!-how-can-we-make-this-work will always be part of every single photoshoot, no matter how flawless it is supposed to be. After the initial discussions with our amazing photographer Stini Mimissonsdóttir, MUA (make-up artist) and stylists regarding location, product, style and make-up the exciting bit can commence!

Last Tuesday, due to all the running around the day finally started at 12pm with the hair and make up artist, Tanja Henning, stylists Ivi Geist and Jaques Smith transforming our jaw-dropping model, Sofia Portanet from head to toe into this wonderland of flowing scarves, red lips and elegance. It never ceases to amaze me the way everyone on set work on a blank canvas to turn it into our final vision.

Everyone was super excited to get hands on and go crazy on set! It is really a pleasure working with such talented people and we do hope they enjoyed it as much as we did. We cannot wait to show you our new lookbook inspired by this seasons trends and by all the outstanding artists we’ve been working with so far.

Here’s a super special thank you note everyone involved: Sofia Portanet, for not only being a mighty eyed dream model but also for being such a trooper throughout the day; Tanja Henning, the amazing hair stylist and makeup artist; our crazy unstoppable creative photographer Stini Mimissonsdóttir; FRS’ amazing Creative Director Antony de Lisa for all the set design and – guess what – creative ideas; our PR God Alex Babahmadi for being the cutest boy in town; the keeper of the 2.0 gates and behind the scenes photograher Claudia Fernandes; Maansi Jain for the awesome behind the scenes video and snap shots, Lovisa Bergman for keeping all our scarves safe and sound; and to Dirty South and Cupcake Berlin for the amazing food and lecker cupcakes! And of course, YOU for tagging along and making all this possible.
Keep an eye out for what’s coming up next, more product, designers, artists on the way! Stay tuned for the next FRS whooping news!
