BGRated Casting Call: Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ Atlanta Casting Call for Tribal Types
Tammy Smith Casting is now casting African-American men to play tribal types for scenes filming this Thursday, March 16th and Friday, March 31st. Talents must attend a wardrobe fitting before working on the scene.
Production for Black Panther started two years ago and centers around T’Challa aka Black Panther, who premiered in the latest Marvel movie, Captain America: Civil War, which also filmed in Atlanta, Georgia.
In case you didn’t know, Black Panther is “the new ruler of the advanced kingdom of Wakanda must defend his land from being torn apart by enemies from outside and inside country,” according to iMDB.
Black Panther will star Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o and Ryan Coogler will direct. Black Panther will hit theaters on February 17, 2018.
