Hello !
My short-film will be submitted to the NIKON FILM FESTIVAL – FRANCE, for the theme “I am a gesture”, and I am searching for my principal and only actress. The film will be 2 minutes 30 seconds long, and the role of Alice is a non-speaking part.
Alice is a lonely aging woman, around 70 to 80. She is stuck in a boring daily routine, that includes to always stay home. But one day, the newspaper that she picks up at her front door every morning is not there. It is time for her to face the world again… and to go buy her own journal.
This is an ode to all aging people around the world. They should be seen more often, be the hero of more movies. This film is also a tribute to my loving grand-mothers, and to every grand-parents, everywhere.
